ZA DVOMA ZAYTSYAMY

On November 11, 2026, the legendary Ukrainian comedy “Za Dvoma Zaytsyamy” (“Chasing Two Hares”) comes to Teatr Ludowy in Krakow. Start: 19:00. The production is part of premiere shows across Europe and brings the story to the stage as a bright musical performance with sparkling humour, live music, songs, love intrigues and unmistakable Ukrainian colour.

The story is one that generations of viewers know and love, and here it comes alive in a modern, dynamic theatre format. At its centre is Svyryd Holokhvostyi, a charismatic adventurer who decides to arrange his life with two brides at once. The plan looks flawless, but very quickly turns into a series of funny misunderstandings, unexpected meetings and situations from which it is almost impossible to come out dry.

Pronya, Holokhvostyi and other beloved characters are alive, temperamental, funny and instantly recognisable. Everything we love about this story is here: sharp humour, romance, adventure, music and the real energy of Ukrainian theatre.

The cast includes well-known Ukrainian artists, among them People’s Artists of Ukraine Anatoliy Hnatyuk, Tamara Yatsenko and Oksana Pekun, together with other bright names of the Ukrainian stage.

More than two hours of a true theatrical celebration, laughter and emotion. Better than the cinema, because this time the story you love happens right in front of you. This is a show to come to with friends, parents and loved ones, to spend an easy, cheerful evening and keep quoting your favourite lines long after the final scene.

The project is created and presented in cooperation between the First Antrepriza and Comedy Theatre, Comedy Space Production and the production centre “Koliseum”.

The show also visits Warsaw on November 8 and Rzeszów on November 12, 2026.
